These images were each created as gifts - I have started or planned a couple for myself but never quite get around to completing them (I only have the very simplified painting of Mary as Our Lady of Grace). They are technically "religious art" not "icons" because of the process - I am self-taught in the distinction, but my training as a classical artist, worrying about proportions and other technical details, distract me from fully entering into the prayerful surrender of an iconographer - though I am mindful enough to listen to religious audiobooks, podcasts, or music in a tribute to the prayerful process associated with these subjects.
